Hey, it was good to hear your voice! Glad you're still alive after your wilderness adventure, lol.
I sent an email to Jane asking if she could make extra sure the gates are unlocked for tomorrow. I have a feeling she might have forgotten to tell her people (she is really, really old). You're going to be on your own for the house itself, but I know you're big into urban exploration so I bet you already have a hacksaw or something on hand.
Between us, I think the state is going to tear it down once they get it from Jane. So, like, hack away. TBH I don't care about the house itself, I'm not an architect buff, I just want the history, and we have to work fast to get what we need.
I love the letter you sent over. Castile Madigan was apparently quite a character and he had a reputation for being a loose cannon in high-society functions. Kind of a Jay Gatsby type, from the sound of it. I'll see if I can scrounge up anything else, but we don't have a ton of resources on him.
On the other hand, I've never even heard of Hazel Lawley or her family. Maybe I can dig something up in the White Oak public records while you're at the estate.
Can you take any pics of the rooms and the house? You have a digital camera, right?
-Quinn
